Manuscripts and letters, 1973-1977.

Series I comprises the manuscripts of Jensma's three published collections of poetry, along with the artwork for the third collection, I Must Show You My Clippings. Also present in the series are the paste-ups of two of those collections. Annotated copies of issues 5, 18, and 19 of Ophir, as well as a volume of poetry by L. D. Raditladi complete the series. Series II consists of a small collection of correspondence from the years 1975 and '76. Correspondents represented include Sheila Fugard, Bessie Head, Peter Horn, Jan Rabie, Walter Saunders, and Johan van Wyk. These letters touch on the artistic, literary, and political scene of southern Africa in those years.
